Clarence D. Lawliss was a member of the 60th Communication Squadron
Palmyra/Marion: Entered into rest on December 12, 2012 at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, JoAnne; sons, Marvin (Mary Ellen), Barry (Marla); daughters, Laurie (Dennis) Fleming, Julie (Dennis) Flynn; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers, Oswald (Wanda), John (Gail), Russell (Niki); sisters, Margaret Abare, Patricia (Ira) Snow; several nieces, nephews and friends. Clarence owned and operated Smiths Packing Co. since 1990. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force from 1954-1958. He was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church, where he served as a Trustee.
Friends and family are invited to call Saturday 5-8 PM and Sunday 4-8 PM at Stevens Funeral Home, 3896 Buffalo St., Marion, NY. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM Monday at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, 1000 S. Main St., Newark, NY 14513. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
